baggage....
and i thought french was hard! try working on a computer where everything's in chinese!
anyway, i know i've been slack, but seriously, internet access has been rather scarce. and so has time. we seem always to be on the run, run, run... methinks there won't be much blogging until i get home in another two weeks or so...
but here is some random newses:
- apparently some of you have received an email from my hotmail account that contained an attachment with a virus. so this is a warning and an apology, even though i DIDN'T send it. if you receive an email from my email address and it's written in portuguese or any other exotic language that i don't speak and it has an attachment but it doesn't explain what the attachment is, or it's not written in my very recognisably talented(ahem ahem :P) literary style of emailing, then probably your best bet is NOT to open it. or ask me first...
- i'm in Hong Kong. already got a haircut and new cheap boots and new cool funky phat pants :D
- the big sis will soon put up a post on the buttsore and blistered feet blog entitled 'Unlucky Lulu'. quite self explanatory.
- my suitcase broke. for those of you who have been following since the beginning, you will remember that i bought this NEW suitcase after my OLD suitcase from melbourne, aka Giant Piece Of Crap, broke on the way to brussels. after leaving lyon, i discovered that the NEW suitcase, was actually only a slight upgrade from the GPOC i used to own. thus meaning i upgraded from an old GPOC, to a new GPOC. and for a rather large sum of 50 euro... as you can probably imagine, i was pretty livid. BUT, seeing as i was having such great fun travelling around with the big sis and laughing so much at our own sillinesses, it didn't really get on my nerves as much as i thought it might. i even foolishly believed it would last until i got back to melbourne. but of course, i really should have guessed from my chain of unbelievably bad luck lately that things were not going to go easy for me. i left a piece of my new GPOC in almost every city i've visted since leaving lyon. you can imagine my surprise at the fact that my luggage seemed to GAIN weight eventhough i kept losing little bits of zips, wheels, and bits of plastic that kept coming off the stand and other parts of the suitcase...
- i've learnt that baggage can be carried with perserverence alone. no such thing as not strong enough. you just gotta do what you gotta do and somehow believe that at the end of the day you might be lucky enough to have a tepid shower and laugh at yourself until you cry...
i really am wishing that every single one of you is smiling and happy
much love xx
